Launch of a legend

1-Feb-2010 TF47 News

Tomorrow at roughly 1300 - for the non-military folks, 1 pm - the latest Intrepid of Obsidian fleet, USS Missouri, will launch for the first time.

The Missouri has a long and illustrious name dating as far back as Earth's World War II. This latest addition to the fleet will start her career with a simple mission to the Kelowna Sector on the far edge of Federation space to fix a malfunctioning automated sensor array. Though not a glorious mission, it's a mission nonetheless, and one that Commander Drake Taylor and his crew will do with pride.
