USS Nina left spacedock today in a flurry of celebrations.

Launched in the early hours of the morning, the Nebula Class ship headed straight into the abyss. The Nina is under way to the Romulan border. Led by Commander Jessica Talini, the untested crew and brand new ship will begin to push the boundaries of the final frontier.

Before the starship sailed off to the border, we talked to the new CO about her ship and crew. In her own words, "We will uphold Starfleet's ideals at every corner, planet, system and quadrant of this universe and will together extend her reach to all known planets in the final dream of a complete universal Federation."
